What are the dates and location of NRA Show 2010®?

The 2010 National Restaurant Association Restaurant, Hotel-Motel Show will be held May 22-25 at McCormick Place in Chicago, Illinois.

What are the hours for NRA Show® 2010?
  • Saturday, May 22, 9:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
  • Sunday, May 23, 9:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
  • Monday, May 24, 9:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
  • Tuesday, May 25, 9:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
  • How much does it cost to register?
    • $30 per person September 1, 2009 through December 1, 2009 (online only).
    • $40 per person December 2, 2008 through April 9, 2010.
    • $80 per person after April 9, 2010.
    • Complimentary for NRA members. (Join today.)
    What does the NRA Show registration fee include?

    The NRA Show registration fee includes: access to the NRA Show for all four days, Show education sessions, the keynote address, Celebrity Book Signings, Culinary Scene, Kitchen Innovations and many opportunities for networking. The registration fee does not include access to the Restaurant Executive Breakfast or the International Wine, Spirits and Beer Event. Registrations for these events are separate and require additional fees.

    Do I have to be an NRA Member to attend?
    No, but you must be affiliated with the restaurant/foodservice or lodging industry. A business card or tax id number is required to register for the Show. Your company's accounting/finance department can provide you with the tax id number. PLEASE NOTE: The Show is not open to the public.
    Who should attend NRA Show 2010®?

    Attendance at the NRA Show is open to anyone directly involved in the foodservice or lodging industry.

    Total: 53,319

    Can I use a credit card to register?
    Yes, we accept all major credit cards (American Express, Diner's Club, Discover, MasterCard, VISA).
    Can I register over the phone?

    No, registrations will NOT be taken over the phone. You can register online through our website at www.restaurant.org/show.

    How do I make hotel arrangements?
    Hotel arrangements can be made through our Web site via the NRA Show Travel Desk. Information regarding housing and travel for NRA Show 2010® will be available in late September.
    What are the refund and cancellation policies?

    You will receive a full refund if cancellation is received by April 16, 2010. Cancellations must be emailed to NRA at nraregistration@restaurant.org. Cancellations will NOT be taken over the phone. No refunds will be given after April 16, 2010.

    If, for some reason, you will not be able to join us, substitutions are welcome at any time. Please submit your substitution request to the NRA Show registration manager at nraregistration@restaurant.org, or by fax to (312) 580-5416.

    Are there special rates such as group rates, daily rates, etc., available to attend the Show?
    No. Everyone pays the same rate to attend the NRA Show.
    How long does it take to walk the Show floor?
    Allow at least two days to adequately cover the entire Show.
    How many exhibitors will be at NRA Show 2010®?
    We expect over 1,800+ companies.
    Do registered attendees receive materials in advance of the event?

    Yes, but only if attendees are pre-registered by a specified date. Name badges will be mailed to all registrants in advance of a meeting if the attendee registers six weeks prior to the meeting date. By registering early, attendees will spend far less time in line onsite at the registration desk.

    Where can I get a wheel chair or mobile scooter for the Show?

    Are children allowed in the Show?
    No. No one under the age of 16 (including infants and toddlers) is allowed on the floor at any time. Please Note: This rule is strictly enforced and there are no exceptions to this policy. ID may be requested if the age of an individual is in question.
