TV's Hottest Celeb Chefs to Heat Up World Culinary Showcase

Several TV "cheflebrities" from across the country will participate in this year's World Culinary Showcase at NRA Show 2013 in Chicago.

This year’s roster includes chef-restaurateurs and TV food personalities Rick Bayless, winner of Bravo TV’s Top Chef Masters competition, Iron Chef’s Cat Cora, and the Food Network’s Maneet Chauhan, Marc Murphy, Marcus Samuelsson, and Aarón Sánchez, all judges on the “Chopped” TV show.

“Throughout all four days of whirlwind energy and excitement at the NRA Show, these culinary masters will provide attendees with tips, techniques and recipe ideas that are sure to please every restaurant guest," said Jeffery W. Davis, Convention Chair for NRA Show 2013 and CEO of the United States Beef Corporation. 

In addition to their television duties, Bayless owns and operates Chicago restaurants Frontera Grill, Xoco and Topolobampo, while Samuelsson and Murphy own and operate New York City-based Red Rooster and Benchmarc restaurants, respectively. Sanchez owns and operates Mestizo in Kansas City, Mo., and Tacombi Tacqueria in New York City, and Cora is the chef-owner of Kouzzina at Disney World in Orlando, Fla., CCQ in Costa Mesa, Calif., and Cat Cora's Kitchen at the Houston, Salt Lake City and San Francisco airports. Chauhan, who is preparing to open a new restaurant in Nashville, Tenn., and is the author of a new book, “World on My Plate”.

Rounding out the celebrity-chef lineup are Food Network’s Anne Burrell, Top Chef contestant Mike Isabella and Homaro Cantu, chef-owner of moto and iNG retaurants in Chicago.

Many of the chefs will be doing book signings after their demonstrations at scheduled times in the Celebrity Book Signings area, including Bayless, Burrell, Cantu, Chauhan, Cora, Isabella, Samuelsson and Sánchez. View the full schedule of the World Culinary Showcase and Celebrity Book Signings.
