Ask the Design Experts provides FREE 30-minute private consultations with leading designers and management consultants. In cooperation with the Foodservice Consultants Society International (FCSI), this service is available to all foodservice, lodging, and retail operators attending the Show on a first-come, first-served basis. One appointment per registrant.

Front of the House (FOH): The areas of a restaurant or other foodservice operation typically open to the public such as the lobby, bar, dining room, patio/garden, cashier's station and host/hostess station.
Back of the House (BOH): The areas of a restaurant or other foodservice operation typically not open to the public, such as the kitchen/galley, pantry/storage areas and refrigeration/freezer spaces.
Management Advisory Services (MAS): The translation of design-related ideas into business decisions. An effective and efficient foodservice design project team often has three components: the client with the concept vision, the FOH and/or BOH designer with the skills to physically create the idea, and the MAS consultant with the ability to translate one to the other.
